As hardcore fans of Pretty Little Liars and all things A-related, we enjoy shows that are bursting with drama. So when we heard about Bunheads — a new ABC Family series about a disenchanted dancer who takes a leap of faith by getting married, leaving her job as a Las Vegas showgirl, and moving in with her new husband only to discover that he still lives with his mother — we knew we had to check it out!
Not only does the show focus on a group of talented ballerinas dealing with personal issues while perfecting their pirouettes and échappé sauté, but it’s also full of heartfelt (and often hilarious) moments as a big city girl (played by Sutton Foster) searches for her place in a small-town and tries to adjust to life with her pain-in-the-tutu mother-in-law (played by Kelly Bishop). Plus, the series is executive produced by Gilmore Girls mastermind Amy Sherman-Palladino so there’s lots of entertaining banter to look forward to!
While Bunheads premieres on June 11th at 9:00 PM ET/PT, 3000 of you lucky viewers will get to watch it before everyone else!
