Before they were living large in Rosewood as Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin and Mona Vanderwaal, Pretty Little Liars co-stars Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Janel Parrish were soaking in glamorous parties and Cali sun in the hit television series, The OC.
With PLL on hiatus, we’re looking to other shows and movies to get our fill of our favorite Rosewood residents, and The O.C. has plenty of Liar representation. Not only did Lucy guest star Hadley Hawthorne (Kaitlin Cooper’s roommate) in the season 3 episode titled “The Man of Year, but Ashley and Janel also made notable appearances in the show’s fourth season! Both actresses guest starred on episode 4.06, “The Summer Bummer” — Ashley played a popular girl with perfect locks of gold (surprise surprise) named Riley and Janel took on the role of Riley’s cute and stylish bff Leah.
