Let’s be real: Dashing good looks and penchant for classic novels aside, Ezra Fitz is one of the sketchiest blokes on television. It was all fun and sweater vests until we found out the truth about him in Pretty Little Liars Season 4B. Not only was he romantically involved with a much younger Alison, but when Ali vanished into thin air, Ezra decided to move to Rosewood and infiltrate the lives of Aria and her friends just so that he could write an award-winning crime novel. He even set up surveillance in every nook and cranny imaginable! Honestly, we don’t hate the guy but you have to admit his behavior is borderline crazy. Thankfully though, in real life, Ian Harding is far from creepy. He’s friendly, conversational, and quite the charmer. (And, yes, his eyes are bluer than Alison’s face when she holds her breath during a tantrum.) Thus, when we got the chance to chat with the talented actor at the PLL spring finale screening at the Ziegfeld Theater in NYC, we felt at ease — and much less inclined to scream bloody murder and run to the nearest ski lift.

So what did we talk about? The big three: Alison DiLaurentis, the ideal guys’ night out, and, of course, the status of Ezra and Aria’s relationship in the show’s fifth season. “I think, you know, they’re going to have to renegotiate a lot,” he revealed in reference to Ezria. “A lot of what they had before was based on a lie of sorts, so they’re going to need to reconnoiter things, and I don’t know if they going to come back.” He paused and then added, “Hopefully!”

Hit the play button on the video below, and watch our interview with Ian for the exclusive scoop. Then drop us a comment telling us if you’re praying for Ezra’s recovery (don’t die, dude!) and whether or not you want to him and Aria back together!
