If you haven’t the good news yet, Olympic gold medalist and world champion swimmer, Missy Franklin, is making an exciting cameo in Pretty Little Liars Season 3. Missy is guest-starring as herself and plans on hitting up the Rosewood’s ultimate hangout — the Brew — to chat with fellow competitive swimmer Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell).
Luckily enough, we don’t have to wait until January 2013 for a first glimpse of Missy gallivanting around Rosewood. Why? Because Shay, Lucy Hale, and Ashley Benson have generously posted behind-the-scenes photos of the University of California bound high school senior and her glorious collection of medals (which they all got a chance to wear) on their Twitter accounts.
And it seems as though Missy, a true American sweetheart who also recently filmed a cameo in The Internship alongside Owen Wilson and Vince Vaugh, made a huge splash with the cast and crew due to her kind nature and great sense of humor. In fact, Ash described the Olympian as “adorable,” and Lucy even invited to come back for another visit!
