Ravenswood - eerie lake houseHave you heard the A-mazing news? A Pretty Little Liars spin-off series called Ravenswood is well underway over at ABC Family and is scheduled to launch in the fall of 2013! So what in the world is this new show about?

The creators, writers, and producers are keeping all the details under wraps for the time being, but they understand how torturous the wait can be for viewers, so they’ve spilled a few secrets. According to the network, Rosewood fanatics can look forward to plenty of suspenseful twists, tantalizing story-lines, and sizzling romances. Here’s an official description:

Ravenswood will center on a town, not far from Rosewood, PA (the home base of Pretty Little Liars), which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers suddenly find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for each of them. The series will premiere on ABC Family following the annual Pretty Little Liars special Halloween episode in October 2013.

Until then, how about a teaser trailer to give you a taste of all the creepiness that awaits us all?  Enjoy, lovelies:

Here are a few clues we caught while watching the video above: A lake house. A fancy car making its way down a dark road. Fog in a cemetery. A raven pecking its beak while perched upon a bare branch. A guestbook featuring a list of unfamiliar names. A mysterious figure sprinting the woods at night. A gun tucked away in a drawer. A girl’s hand grabbing a knife. Sketchy piles of cash. Hot pink nails. Honestly, it feels like a mashup of Pretty Little Liars,The Vampire Diaries, and Spring Breakers which makes us even more pumped for the premiere of Ravenswood!

I Will give it a try because I adore #pll. If it has the same mystery quality to it I’m sure I’ll be hooked; however, if its going with some curse angle like I reader somewhere-no thanks. Enough of that being done on every other show-boring.

Shows. Movies, short films. they are all created from either a real life event, a book, or based off history. Thats how we get our iseas, scripts, scenes. Spmetimes yes, someone makes it up but more than half the time its based off of one pf the above I listed.

I love PLL so I’ll try it out but I can’t see how a curse is a spin-off of PLL it seems kind of witchy to me and that’s been done and failed before and I don’t like getting into a show and then I going off the air after one season.

The plot of ravenwood kinda reminds me of the movie the convenient? It was a small town families cursed long ago uncovering secrets kinda thing.. It was a good movie but hopw it isn’t one of those shows that is a one season wonder.. Cause pll is my aall time favorite!

Easily installed it in my 96 VW Cabrio clnrevtiboe, after my present one got drenched during a bad thunderstorm when I left the top down. Looked for one with Bluetooth, and when I saw this one, I started drooling, since I had an I-Phone 3GS.My only concern was that the included instructions did not include compatibility with the I-Phone 3GS. But my 3GS worked perfectly with it when docked.Bluetooth works great, even with the top down. Smart card works great, as does the USB inputs. When docking/charging the I-Phone, my I-Tunes music in my phone starts automatically and is apparently the default input when docking.I must agree with other reviewers in that the volume is very low playing I-Tunes from the phone. But then when removed or mode changed to smart card or radio, the volume becomes too loud.Another issue I discovered, and was resolved by emailing tech support and getting a response in less than 24 hrs, was finding how to utilize the bass and treble controls. It is supposed to be displayed right after the volume is displayed when the volume button is pushed and held. What happens is the bass and treble options disappear when one of the equalizer settings is used such as pop, jazz, rock. Only when user controlled option is activated in the equalizer mode, will the bass and treble control be available. Use the remote to change the equalizer setting. Buggy? No, just poor design.Very nice head unit. Best I have seen so far. I would like to have seen auto volume added, to increase the volume when traveling fast, and lowering it when going slow or in traffic, which is standard on most cars now.
