To trust Ali or not to trust: that is the question. Although the answer is as obvious as a bright red sign warning swimmers of a shark-infested waters up ahead, it seems as one Rosewood resident in particular has no qualms about diving into the deep, murky waves of Ali’s lies. And that girl’s name? Emily Freaking Fields (Shay Mitchell). Whenever Alison’s life is threatened or her motives debated, she springs into superhero mode and comes to her defense. In fact, in a new web clip from Pretty Little Liars episode 5×10: “A Dark Ali,” Emily actually snaps at Spencer (Troian Bellisario) — a friend who has stuck by her side no matter what — for daring to suggest that Alison might be a deceitful, unscrupulous person!
In this juicy sneak peek video, Emily, who was supposed to meet up with Spencer outside her house, discovers that the detective-in-training has been hanging out in her room this entire time. (Not to worry though — Pammy Cakes let her in and even treated her to a few carrot sticks!) She grows even more irritable when Noel Kahn rings up Spencer to ask for his
blackmail goods loot back. Emily immediately orders Spencer to ignore his call, but Spencer isn’t so sure about that. “We might need him! What if he has more pictures or information that we can use?”
“Use for what?” Emily demands. “To turn on our friend?” She quickly elaborates and starts to gather up the evidence that proves Ali wasn’t kidnapped. “Aria filled me in on your great idea — it’s not going to happen, Spencer. What we should be doing is burning this stuff.”
“Ali is not our friend right now,” Spencer spits out as bluntly as humanly possible. “She’s a dangerous person who’s gambling with our lives.” Oh hell to the naw! As soon as Spencer utters those words, Emily goes berserk. Watch the intense clip below!
