Is your head throbbing? Do you feel dizzy and fatigued? Are tears flowing down your face like endless rivulets of sorrow? Don’t worry — you’re just entering a feverish state of PLL post-mortem shock….and we can totally relate. The #FatalFinale was brutal on our Rosewood-obsessed hearts, and we don’t know how we’re ever going to recover from that unexpected death. Luckily, we have two whole months (until the show’s Christmas special airs) to mourn this particular character’s tragic demise in peace. And better yet? We have a fresh batch of beautiful songs from Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 12 to help ease the pain.
Now take a deep breath, yank out a box of tissues, and let the healing process begin, starting with the PLL 5×12 playlist below!
“The End of Romance” by Daniel Ahearn: This poignant tune plays during the opening. The Liars are standing near a crime scene and tearing up. “A” gets extra vicious and sends them a text telling them the town’s latest murder is all their fault. (RUDE!)
“Nothing More (feat. Lily Costner)” by The Alternate Routes: Plays when Ezra drops by Aria’s house with pumpkin pies in tow. She invites him to Thanksgiving dinner and jokes that her family will interrogate him non-stop. It also plays when Toby visits Spencer in his new police offer uniform and indulge in a little foreplay. Spencer then almost brings Toby to tears when she hands him a graduation gift: a shiny pocket watch!
“What Love Looks Like” by Rebecca Roubion: Plays when Paige hurries into the Brew to inform Emily and her friends that Ali is assembling her own army. However, before they can discuss counteractive measures, the police burst onto the scene and arrest Spencer for the murder of Bethany Young. Even though all her friends argue that Spencer isn’t the culprit, the cops ignore their pleas.
“We Gotta Get Out Of This Place” by Denmark & Winter: Plays when Ali spies on the Liars as they stand crying outside Mona’s house. Meanwhile, someone steals the baby Jesus from the Fields family’s manger and replaces it with a doll that resembles nerdy Mona. And what did this psycho do with the Baby Jesus? He/she placed it on Mona’s ice cold body. Shudder!
