The official Pretty Little Liars Season 3 trailer premiered recently and it was nothing short of delicious and startling. However, aside from all the graveyard gallivanting and chilling asylum scenes, there was a certain moment in the video that left us slightly freaked out and curious — when we spotted Aria Montgomery sitting on a couch with Ezra Fitz!
Normally, Aria and Ezra couch scenes lead to sexy kissage but this scene was all sorts of uncomfortable and worrisome. Aria looked upset about something and Ezra appeared to be consoling. The main question though was, “Why is Aria worried?” Thankfully, a brave fan tweeted Pretty Little Liars creator and writer Marlene King to ask for the scoop. Here’s Marlene’s cryptic yet juicy response:
Three letters, one exclamation: OMG! We understand why she’d be concerned about Emily Fields (they are BFFs after all) but why Maya St. Germain and Allison DiLaurentis — two girls presumed to be dead on the show and the only two girls Emily has ever professed her love to? Hmm. We can’t say for sure now but all we do know is that Em’s season 3 storyline is sounding increasingly heartbreaking!
