There’s no denying that when it comes to acting skills, Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario has plenty to go around. She rocks it weekly as nerdy yet stylish Spencer Hastings on PLL, and she recently moved viewers to tears in the webseries Lauren in which she played a sergeant forced to struggle with the repercussions of reporting a sexual assault while remaining loyal to the country she serves. And now? She’s tackling a whole new role in C.O.G, a film adaptation of an essay by David Sedaris.

Here’s what Deadline.com is reporting about the independent film:

In this particular essay, Sedaris travels to work in the apple orchards of Oregon and is confronted by migrant workers and God-fearing churchgoers. Jonathan Groff, Corey Stoll, Casey Wilson and Dean Stockwell also star. Cookie Carosella and Stephen Nemeth are producing the project currently filming in Portland, Oregon.

As fans of Davis Sedaris’ writing, we can definitely picture Troian fitting perfectly into his atypical yet humorous worlds. Plus, the cast looks amazing! Are you thrilled about the PLL starlet’s new role? Post your thoughts in the comments!
