An ancient Rosewood law decrees that whenever one hot guy skips town another handsome gentleman must take his place in order to balance the sexy way of life and secure the title of “World’s Steamiest Zip Code.” And with Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn) moving to creepy Ravenswood, the powers that be team over at ABC Family had to hurry up and fill the vacancy for “bad boy with a heart of gold.” Quite miraculously, they found a suitable contender who can hold down the fort while Caleb is gone. Meet Wes Ramsey, everyone!

According to E! Online, Wes, who’s starred in Charmed (Piper and Wyatt reunion!) and CSI-Miami, and looks like Ryan Reynolds’s long-lost brother, has landed the role of Rosewood High’s new guidance counselor. When Pretty Little Liars returns in January 2014 for the second half of season four, Wes will make his debut as Jesse, a recurring character who is described as “a laid-back staff member with a warm smile.” Don’t worry though — he’s not there to disrupt the chemistry between Aria and Ezra/Jake nor is he there to seduce the young schoolgirls like so many of the older guys in this town typically do. (We’re looking at you, Wren.) In fact, he won’t be a love interest for any of the Liars.

So he’ll be there to do his job and guide students through the college selection process? And provide them with helpful academic advice? Possibly some suggestions on how to overcome psychotic bullies such as “A”? Well, well. There’s definitely a first time for everything, even in Rosewood.

What do you think of this PLL newcomer, loves? Does he receive your stamp of approval?

Yay! I loved Wes on “Charmed”! I can’t wait until January to see him in action on PLL!

  2. Bri Said:

I think he will be Mona’s love interest. Isn’t she supposed to have one next year? And he seems perfect. Especially if she is still on the A team.
