Bear with us here -- we're going out on a limb with this accusation. However, we found it really odd that Alison DiLaurentis was all gung-ho about destroying Byron's office with Aria after learning that he and Meredith were having an affair. Could Byron have bee having an affair with Alison as well and then killed Maya thinking she had read details about it in Ali's journal. Well, that's one theory at least!Jason DiLaurentis
He and Alison never got along and there were plenty of times he scared her (to the point where she ran over to Spencer's house to seek refuge). Additionally, he did an awful lot of late-night digging around his front yard in Pretty Little Liars Season 2 and was event spotted chatting up Maya towards the end of the season. He's proved just how violent and angry he is in Season 1 when he vandalized Alison's memorial. He then terrorized Hanna when the two of them took a boat ride to set off sparklers for Caleb's surprise party. Now? He's acting like a hardcore felon -- getting gruff with Aria, setting trash cans on fire, lurking around Rosewood late at night and so forth. If Jenna is one crazy bitch then Big Sis Hastings is off her rocker! She faked a good portion of her pregnancy and was caught red-handed on Alison's secret video tapes. She's an angry jealous girlfriend and she may have targeted Maya for knowing a wee too much about everyone's secrets courtesy of Alison's journals. Also, she spent a lot of time hanging out with Garrett who was last seen giving Maya a ride from the bus station. For all we know there are two killers out there but taking into account how Mel sometimes seems a bit schizo we're not going to dismiss her quite yet from the Who Killed Maya lineup!Nate St. Germain
Nathan has been caught in a lie one too many times to be trusted. He appeared out of nowhere and is always lurking about wherever Emily is. In fact, he seems obsessed with her in a totally stalkerish way and even got scary at one point during episode 3.08 talking about how he wanted to kill Garrett Reynolds in cold blood. Could harmless seeming Nate have something to do with Maya's death? Perhaps there are TWO killers on the loose. Totally not Bryan Montgomery!I’m almost95%sure that its Nate.Proof?Nate MAY be the stalker Maya was telling Emily about.He may not even be her cousin!Anyways when Spencer was showing the surveillance video at the cabin,it showed Noel and Jenna getting out from the car and correct me if i’m wrong but it looked like Jenna glanced over to the side. Continued:Then Maya Walked out and went over to where Jenna was looking, and someone grabbed her.Then in the recent episode,Nate asked Hanna about Emily, and somehow he turned it to Jenna.Hanna accidentally slipped out that Jenna was faking not to see.Nate got very frustrated and started to shout at Jenna,”I know you SAW ME”.How obvious could you get,buddy?!Nate got mad because Jenna saw him kill Maya,or at least grab her!AND, she also told Emily to be careful with who she hangs out with…
I couldn’t of said it any better then PLLADDICTED.I really do think it is Nate or whoever he is. He took Emily to the cabin to kill her girlfriend in front of her. I still don’t even know if Nate is dead yet because someone or something shot Caleb and Emily would NOT do that to Hanna or Caleb. Nate had to of gotten up and pulled the trigger and shot Caleb. that would make the most sense! Unless some how Caleb like set a timer on the gun and point it at himself. Or he shot himself.Gonna continue!

I am pretty sure it is Nate idk why but it is most likely him because he starts to hate Emily so I think that is why but another suspect it could be is Paige because she felt jealous of Emily and Maya and she really loves Emily so that could be another good suspect reason
